With only one mobility scooter sale in nine months, Mobility Plus Ltd realised they needed professional marketing help.  Pepper Marketing worked with the Director of the company to put business plans in place and increase sales, as well as rebuild some business confidence and motivation.

A situation analysis was undertaken, then a brand plan to identify and outline the Mobility Plus strategy and direction.  The brand logo was redesigned to be less industrial and more friendly, approachable yet trustworthy.

Key communication vehicles were identified and improved.  A strategy was developed to improve sales made through agents and direct to consumers.  Direct mail communication with key information and point of sale were sent to potential agents. Presentations and posters were developed for talks at retirement villages and calendars were created to leave with the residents.


The results?  A brand that is now in line with the target market. Dramatic improvement of the website and key communication under a strict budget, using the company’s current designer.  The development of a nationwide network of agents.  Massive sales growth, from agents as well as two or three scooter sales per retirement village presentation, plus great word of mouth marketing.
